1. Dec 02,  · Many people did simply not get the irony in it. And totally ignoring, the concept of the Album who played with nostalia (Radio) and modernism (nuclear power). In their live appearences in the nineties the song "Radio-Activity" includes a new vocal, to sort out misunderstandings. It says "Stop Radioactivity" now/5().

2. Kraftwerk had developed their style to its fullest, resulting in this coherent concept album. Radio-Activity cannot boast of a smash hit song, but the album's overall musical diversity ensures a high degree of interest from beginning to end. The album is bilingual, with both German and English verses throughout the album/5().

3. If you love pop and little else, move along. If you love electronic music and concept artistry, a better album than Radio-Activity does not exist. There may be others _as_ good as Radio-Activity, at least in theory, but in my collection of thousands (CDs, Records, Tapes, Digital Downloads), I have been unable to find one/5().

8. 'Radio-activity' or 'Radio-aktivitaet', the album is probably most important for placing the group into multilingual territory. Delivered in German and English, it is also one of the more notorious (at least to some extent) chapters in the group's excellent discography - while 's version of the title song delivers warnings regarding exposure, the original album's concept seems at odds.
